UK Tote Group appoints Dave Hammond as Chief Operating Officer

UK Tote Group has named Dave Hammond as its new Chief Operating Officer (COO).

Hammond previously served as the company’s Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) since April 2023. He boasts over 20 years of industry experience, including senior roles at Inspired Gaming, Paddy Power, SBTech, and DraftKings.

Hammond spent nearly 10 years at Inspired Gaming, rising from Senior Corporate Account Manager in 2006 to Senior Vice President of Mobile by 2015. He also held senior leadership roles at Paddy Power, where he was Director of Retail Product & Innovation and later B2B Director.

In 2018, Hammond founded BetConsultancy.com, leading the business for three and a half years. He also served as Executive Chairman at Spartos for three years, further cementing his reputation as a seasoned executive with a track record in strategy.

His appointment follows closely on the heels of UK Tote Group's recent extension of its partnership with BetMakers, a long-term agreement set to run through 2029. BetMakers will continue providing the group’s pool wagering systems—an essential component of its operations across 85 racecourses in the UK and Ireland.
