Vermont's sports betting handle increased 40% year-over-year in June 2025, totalling $14 million. When compared to May 2025, however, the figure was down by 13.9%.
Adjusted gross wagering revenue from that betting activity was $1.4 million, while winnings totalled $12.5 million.
Record baseball activity led the market with $3.8 million in bets, according to Vermont’s Department for Liquor and Lottery, followed by tennis with $1.7 million, basketball at $1.4 million, e-basketball with $1.1 million, and soccer at $1 million.
Of the total handle, $10.6 million was wagered in Vermont and $3.4 million out of state, according to the regulator. There were 13,233 active users during the period, with 7,943 located in the state and 5,290 out of Vermont.
The number of bets reached 506,853, with 417,730 taking place in Vermont and 89,123 out-of-state.
