Betpass wins SiGMA Americas Pitch with white-label solution Affiliatech

Brazilian payments company Betpass won the SiGMA Americas Pitch at the BiS SiGMA Americas conference, beating out competitors Promofy, SavageTech GmbH, Poker Depot, and Machina Sports.

The company’s winning pitch focused on Affiliatech, a white-label solution aimed at organizing Brazil’s fragmented iGaming affiliate market.

With over 70% of Brazil’s online betting FTDs driven by affiliates, Betpass targets the sector’s regulatory and operational challenges. Affiliatech includes an affiliate education platform (Affiliate University), a digital wallet (Affiliawallet), and tools for performance tracking and AI-powered compliance.

“I want to thank my team – we passed through a lot over the last 2 years, we pivoted our model more than five times,” Co-founder and CEO Bruno Barroso said in his acceptance speech. “It’s hard to be a bootstrap company – especially here in Brazil. I think we won this because we never gave up.”

Vinícius Moraes De Carvalho, Investment Partner at Ikigai Ventures, noted that Brazil’s betting startup scene is gaining momentum. "The ecosystem is starting to evolve – it’s very nice to see this growth over these last three years, and I believe it’s going to advance even more," he said.

Meanwhile, investor Harmen Brenninkmeijer advised startups to focus on metrics, clearly state their goals, and show how they’ll deliver returns. He said he wants founders to show ambition and a clear growth strategy. "You need to show you’re going to make a return on investment,” Brenninkmeijer added.

“Think big, dream big – this is what we are after,” Alexandre Ludolf, the CIO of QR Asset Management, added.
