FBM Foundation, the humanitarian cooperation arm of the FBM gaming brand, conducted a new relief operation in the Philippines as part of the "FBM Tulong sa Pagsulong" initiative to provide assistance to families affected by recent natural disasters. Held on August 18, the effort involved distributing 2,000 food and 2,000 non-food relief packages to address immediate needs.

Brgy. San Miguel in Calumpit, Bulacan, faces the aftermath of Typhoons Egay and Falcon, impacting more than 2,000 families. In response, the FBM Foundation, in collaboration with 18 dedicated volunteers, organized a relief operation to extend aid to the affected families, the company explained in a statement.

Pepe Costa, representing the FBM Foundation, led the operation along with Glorime Lem Faustino, the Mayor of Calumpit, Bulacan; and Dave Braian Sambilay, the Barangay Captain of San Miguel. This joint effort highlighted the significance of community collaboration during crises.

The "Tulong sa Pag-Sulong: Relief Operation Aid for Natural Disasters" initiative by FBM Foundation aims to offer comfort, assistance, and optimism "to communities grappling with the aftermath of natural calamities." Its primary objective is to ensure the safety, well-being, and health of individuals in emergency situations triggered by natural disasters, the foundation said.

“The core objective of the project is to furnish immediate support to victims of natural calamities, encompassing typhoons, floods, earthquakes, and similar weather-related events," Vítor Francisco, Director at FBM Foundation, said. “The aim of this project is to alleviate the burdens and challenges borne by affected communities through the implementation of relief operations, supplies, and assistance during times of crisis.”

The FBM Foundation has consistently played an active role in conducting relief operations within the region. Recently, it made an emergency response in Parañaque City, Manila after a fire incident.

On July 8, a devastating episode severely affected Brgy. San Dionisio, leaving numerous families displaced and in urgent need of assistance. Responding to the crisis, the FBM Foundation, in collaboration with 15 dedicated volunteers, initiated the "Bayanihan para sa Kababayan" project on July 26.

The foundation also recently announced that it is supporting the construction of 90 new houses through a donation of materials, in its effort to build a new future for 170 families in Barangay Old Capitol Site, Quezon City in the Philippines.
