With less than a week left for G2E to start, gaming companies from all over the world set their eyes on Las Vegas for the key gambling event of the year. Set to be held October 10-13 at The Venetian Expo, the upcoming edition marks the first fully in-person one since the pandemic.
Among companies preparing for a return to the event is Amusnet Interactive. The iGaming developer -formerly known as EGT Interactive- will be exhibiting at G2E Las Vegas for the first time under its new name, following a rebranding process completed earlier this year.
Ahead of the summit, Yogonet spoke with Georgi Izov, Regional Business Development Manager LatAm for Amusnet Interactive. In this interview, the executive describes the products the company is set to exhibit, expectations for event, and what comes next for the brand.
Amusnet Interactive is set to exhibit at the upcoming G2E Las Vegas. What will the company focus on this time around?
We are excited to join G2E in Las Vegas and showcase not only our popular classic video slots but also our new modern ones. Our portfolio is constantly growing and we are going to present the latest addition to the Live Casino platform – Vegas Roulette 500x, which we believe is going to be the delegates’ focus.
In September we released our first pilot project related to charity – Drops of Water. We are sure our partners will be interested to learn more about this game and try it on our stand.
Given G2E’s status as one of the major global events in the industry, what are your expectations for the expo?
Yes, G2E is one of the most significant events in the iGaming calendar. Therefore, we expect to meet a lot of our partners and industry leaders during the expo. It is important to discuss our business strategy and development in person and such events are a great way to do it.
This year has been a landmark one for Amusnet Interactive, which rebranded into its current form at the start of 2022. How will this new positioning be reflected at G2E?
We are still the same team of highly motivated professionals behind the new name. This corporate step was a strategic way to introduce diversity in our portfolio while delivering the same high level of service and impeccable quality.
As I previously said, everyone is welcome to try our emblematic Amusnet Interactive slots and in addition to our new product verticals like state-of-the-art Live Casino, Amusnet entertaining Slots, Keno and Lotto.
G2E is set to feature discussions on the future of gaming, including what’s next in iGaming. Where do you see the vertical headed? What markets do you see as providing the biggest opportunities?
Amusnet Interactive is known for its strong presence in numerous regulated markets in Europe. There are territories where we are the undeniable leader with more than 50% market share. This year we are focusing on the LATAM markets, where we see great potential and interest in our portfolio.
I and my colleagues from the Business Development team are present at numerous events in the region in order to meet partners in person, get to know the market specifics and establish our presence. At the same time, we keep track and observe the situation in the upcoming regulated territories.
Which other industry events are you planning to attend next?
Right after G2E Las Vegas we are heading to Miami for SBC Summit Latinoamerica which is another key event for us.
In November, we will also participate at Sigma Europe in Malta and our local exhibition BEGE Balkan Entertainment & Gaming Expo.
