Gaming supplier IGT announced Friday that its Money Mania video slots, its latest WAP product, has awarded its hundredth jackpot prize on August 8 at Newcastle Casino in Oklahoma. The game, which was launched in commercial jurisdictions in May following a "successful" introduction in tribal gaming jurisdictions, has become "a standout on casino floors across the country," the company said.

Max McAllister, Director of Slot Operations at Mohegan Sun, said: "Since the day Money Mania was installed at Mohegan Sun, the game has proven to be a solid performer in our WAP portfolio. Our customers have consistently gravitated to the title and enjoy the combination of player-favorite themes with a captivating bank-wide wheel bonus that delivers excitement to our floor."

Money Mania is available on IGT’s PeakSlant32 cabinet and features two of the company’s most popular themes, Cleopatra and Pharoah’s Fortune. Packed with "player-preferred" mechanics, "the game’s success has been driven by the compelling gameplay incorporating a static top-level Money Jackpot and a frequent-hitting second-level Mania Jackpot WAP jackpot," IGT noted.

Nick Khin, IGT's Chief Operating Officer, Global Gaming, added: “The highly engaging Money Mania wide area progressive game has rapidly shown outstanding results and provides our customers with a fun-filled experience for their players."

"IGT's innovative solutions continue to offer rewarding gaming options that complement the needs of an evolving industry. The impressive reception of Money Mania demonstrates our ability to remain on the fast track with innovation and maintain our position as the leader in jackpot games," he concluded.

Earlier this month, the company reported one of its highest EBITDA margins ever in Q2. Revenue for the period amounted to $1.2 billion, driven by solid customer and player demand, especially in Global Gaming product sales, a segment that grew by 23%.
