iGB Live! opened its Exhibition & Conference on Wednesday in Amsterdam with organizers confident of celebrating a record-breaking edition. Industry professionals converged on the RAI Amsterdam alongside 190 sponsors and exhibitors occupying over 4,500 sqm of space.

Naomi Barton, Portfolio Director for the iGB brand, said: “We are delighted to open the 2022 edition of iGB Live! and to welcome our international stakeholders to Amsterdam. We are looking forward to building on the success of the 2021 edition of iGB Live! and more recently April’s iGB Affiliate London as we consolidate the show’s status as one of the most influential in-person events on the gaming industry calendar.”

Reflecting on the dynamics of the show, she added: “This edition of iGB Live! is larger than the 2019 pre-pandemic edition when there was a greater concentration on smaller shell-scheme stands. In 2022 we have more exhibitors buying larger space only stands, which underlines the growing status of the brand, a preparedness on behalf of the industry to invest in their presence and to view iGB Live! as an opportunity to showcase brands. With a dynamic Conference programme, two in-depth Masterclasses and features dedicated to online slots and esports we have an exciting and dynamic content-rich two days ahead.”

Hosted by Clarion Gaming, the same organizers as ICE London, iGB Live! said Friday it was officially sold out. Projected attendance is "on-track" to match, if not exceed, the 2021 figure with 37% of pre-registrations attending iGB Live! for the first time, according to organizers. The event kicked off Tuesday with pre-registration and badge collection, and welcome drinks.

iGB Live's Conference program is featuring 46 industry thought-leaders, including Ernie Stevens, Chairman of the Indian Gaming Association, and Chris Harrison, Google's Industry Head, Financial Trading and EGaming.

This time the event added two new free-to-attend Masterclasses. On Wednesday, Justin Deaville, who has worked with many renowned UK brands -including Aviva, PaddyPower, Ladbrokes, SkyBet, the Financial Services Forum and the Foreign Office-, led Advanced SEO, an interactive workshop and discussion. The second Masterclass will be led by Eric Frank of Odds On Compliance on Thursday (13.30 – 17.30), called "Demystifying the USA affiliate license." It will be a 3-hour, step-by-step workshop demonstrating to small and medium-sized affiliates how to cost-effectively make and win an affiliate application in the United States.

The event will close on Friday with an Unwind Session, which will see a canal boat tour, departing from Strandzuid, and an open bar hosted by Safe Affiliate Programs.
