Both gaming companies launched on December 30 after special purpose acquisition company mergers. RSI launched on the New York Stock Exchange while GNOG landed on the NASDAQ stock market.

Rush Street Interactive‘s leadership team and directors on Tuesday rang the traditional bell to start the day’s trading at the New York Stock Exchange in Wall Street.

The parent company of Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh and Rivers Philadelphia officially launched on the NYSE on December 30 following a merger with special purpose acquisition company (SPAC) dMY Technology Group Inc. On the same day, Golden Nugget Online Gaming launched on the NASDAQ stock market.

“This ceremony is a tribute to our incredible team, investors and partners who all made this day possible,” said Greg Carlin, Chief Executive Officer of RSI in a news release. Rush Street’s stock has seen a positive performance, as reported by Play Pennsylvania. The early versions of the stock traded below $10 this year, but that value has more than doubled as it successfully navigated its way to a full public offering.

The Golden Nugget Online Gaming stock also used the SPAC route, led by Houston Rockets owner Tilman Fertitta. He helped transition Landcadia Holdings II to the public GNOG offering on December 30.
