Betcris executives to participate in SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital

Betcris will participate in different panels of the SBC Summit Barcelona – Digital, which will run from September 8-11. Calling upon leaders in the iGaming and sports gambling industries to provide their expert opinions on the evolution of gaming, this summit focuses on new developments, regulations and other topics that impact this constantly changing ecosystem.

The “Understanding and reaching Latin American players” panel will be held on September 9, from 5:30 – 6:10 PM, Central European Summer Time (CEST). Discussing this topic will be Betcris CEO JD Duarte, who will be joined by the co-founder of Super Afiliados, Alessandro Valente, and Caliente Interactive’s chief marketing officer for LatAm, Fernanda Sainz. Moderating the panel will be Calvin Ayre lead reporter Becky Liggero.

“With more operators entering Latin America, competition for customers has never been more intense,” according to the panel’s description. This bilingual seminar will look at how established brands and startups are competing for a larger piece of the market, which channels are imperative for marketers and how operators can combine advertising, sponsorships and affiliations to achieve a greater reach. The inclusion of Betcris follows the company’s continued efforts to help establish a large, regulated and consistent market throughout Latin America.

Later that evening, the SBC Summit Barcelona will host a panel on payments-related activity, “Tackling Latin America’s Payments Problem.” This segment will run from 6:10 to 6:50 PM CEST, and, per the panel’s description, “The growth of Latin America’s gaming sector has not been matched by available banking options. Volatile national currencies and a hostile banking sector are just two problems operators encounter on a daily basis. But, can payment innovation, cashless technologies and even cryptocurrencies provide a solution?”

This panel will be led by Andres Vargas of Betcris Account Management Payment Solutions Team. He has been involved with the company’s payments solutions since 2010, and has been an intrinsic part of its continued expansion and acceptance across LatAm countries.

The upcoming SBC Summit Barcelona event will see more than 200 industry experts giving their input on the gaming ecosystem, and over 10,000 gaming-affiliated representatives have already signed up to attend.
