The company is based in Turin, Italy, one of the most affected countries in the world by the COVID-19 spread. Abbiati has set up "Smart-Working" from home, which enables it to maintain its commercial and administrative capabilities.

Italy-based Abbiati said in a statement Thursday that the company remains operative with manufacturing temporarily suspended.

During the coronavirus pandemic that is affecting the entire world and Italy in particular, Abbiati has temporarily suspended its manufacturing operations, but through the implementation of "Smart-Working" from home is able to maintain its commercial and administrative capabilities. The firm said that “more than ever the well being and health of all staffs is of primary importance.”

“This worldwide emergency caused by COVID 19 requires everyone to do whatever it takes and take whatever actions are needed to defeat it and maintain safety for all of us,” the company stated. “The Abbiati Family and Team are strong and determined and ready to return to full operations as soon as possible, and wishes all of its customers, suppliers, collaborators and friends, good health and please stay safe.”
