Sports betting revenue in New York is 41% lower in November

The state’s four commercial sportsbooks made $1.3m in gross gaming revenue last month, which represents a 40.9% month-on-month decline on the $2.2m generated in October.

According to figures from the New York State Gaming Commission (NYSGC), the state has seen its lowest monthly revenue since it launched sports betting in July.

NYSGC’s report shows New York’s four commercial sportsbooks generated $1.3m in gross gaming revenue in November, a 40.9% month-on-month decline on the $2.2m generated in October.

It is worth noting that the NYSGC reports do not display sports wagering handle.

All of New York’s commercial sportsbooks saw a drop in revenue last month. Once again, Rivers Casino & Resort Schenectady was the most successful of the state’s four commercial sportsbooks. The NYSGC’s November figures show that the Rush Street owned venue generated just $549,230 in revenue.

Resorts World Catskills in Monticello came in second place last month after the venue generated $467,356 in sports betting revenue.

The DraftKings powered sportsbook at the del Lago Resort and Casino in Waterloo held onto just $230,092 making it the state’s third most successful sportsbook in November.

The FanDuel branded sportsbook at Tioga Downs came in at fourth place with $61,618 in revenue.
