Inaugural G2E Asia @ the Philippines debuts today with "high attendance"

It gathered top-level representatives from business, government and the diplomatic community. Andrea Domingo, Chairman and CEO of PAGCOR, kicked off the event with her opening keynote address. The Product Awards Ceremony and Gala Dinner will be held in The Manila Ballroom to recognize the exhibition’s most popular products and award the winners of four prize categories.

G2E Asia @ the Philippines, “the ideal platform to tap into the ASEAN gaming markets,” debuted today at the Manila Marriott Hotel with "high attendance" of top-level representatives from business, government and the diplomatic community. The inaugural event will run through Wednesday, December 4.

Dignitaries attending the opening ceremony also included Michael Cheng, President of Reed Exhibitions Greater China; Peter Eric Pardo, Chief of Staff, Mayor’s office, Passy City; Takashi Oya, Co-Vice Chairman & President of OKADA Manila; Hakan Dagtas, EVP, Chief Gaming Operations Officer, Travellers International Hotel Group Inc.; and Roger Lwin, VP of Casino of Melco Crown Philippines / City of Dreams Manila.

Roberto P. Alabado III, Assistant Secretary, Tourism Development Planning, Department of Tourism, Republic of The Philippines, will kick off Day Two keynote speech tomorrow.

The G2E Asia @ the Philippines Conference Program will feature a robust education schedule delivered by a lineup of renowned leaders and influencers. The two-day, content-rich program will center around the themes of “ASEAN Market Perspectives: Opportunities and Threats” and “Beyond Gaming.”

G2E Asia @ the Philippines offers its participants a wide range of networking opportunities with gaming operators and professionals from the Philippines and neighboring countries, including the Gaming Executives’ Reception. This exclusive, invitation-only gathering convenes the industry’s most prominent leaders, offering senior-executive networking opportunities and brand exposure at the highest level.
