Merkur Gaming displays brand new Treasure Link at BEGE

At the 12th edition of the Balkan Entertainment and Gaming Expo (BEGE), Merkur Gaming returned to Sofia’s Inter Expo Center with a high profile product presentation and described the show as having been “perfect.”

The highlight of the Merkur Gaming display was the brand new linked progressive jackpot Treasure Link and its dedicated range of five brand new games. That game range is truly diverse in its themes. From Africa to Asia and also with Joker Buffalo, a gaming entertainment product that attracted great interest from visitors.

As a market leader in multigame portfolio presentations, the Merkur Gaming booth was packed full of attractions, featuring a variety of cabinets such as the Avantgarde Trio, the Avante Plus and the Slant Top Curve to show off over 140 individual games. Also attracting much attention was the eight seater multiplayer Merkur Roulette and the presence on the booth of cash handling maestros GeWeTe, displaying their Cash Center Compact and Cash Center Premium models to great effect.

Markus Wessler, International Sales Director, commented on what he saw as one of the Merkur Gaming booth’s key assets —the “outstanding” job done by the team of hostesses who all came from the Royale Palms Casino Group. “Palms is one of Bulgaria’s top operators and having them provide our booth hostess team was really great. These ladies are totally experienced at interacting directly with players and their game knowledge plus their skill in communicating with visitors as they assisted us at BEGE was a masterstroke. They all really did an outstanding job.”

Merkur’s Chief Executive, International, Athanasios ‘Sakis’ Isaakidis expressed his satisfaction for both his team and the products on display, stating: “This has been a truly great show for Merkur Gaming. Our team has received a welcome number of visitors; not just from Bulgaria but all across the Balkans and notably from Greece and from Cyprus also. They worked hard in demonstrating the products and their job was helped tremendously by the excellent organization of the event. We can look back on a show that underlined the Merkur Gaming presence throughout this important region and which was, in all aspects, just perfect.”

Having now staked its place as a high profile regional gaming exhibition, BEGE also hosted a spectacular party and awards ceremony in the Megami Club at Sofia’s Marinela Hotel. Rounding off an excellent event, Merkur Gaming was honored by the presentation of a special award to mark the company’s support of BEGE in recent years.
