The new sports betting facility at Mountain Gods Resort & Casino is set to open its doors to sports fans and visitors Thursday at 6 p.m.

This launch follows the recent announcement of the partnership between William Hill US and the Mescalero Apache Tribe, which signified the first sportsbook powered by William Hill in New Mexico and the first tribal agreement for William Hill outside of Nevada.

The grand opening celebrations will include a ribbon-cutting ceremony and the first ceremonial bet placed in the sportsbook powered by William Hill. Holm and members of the Mescalero Apache Tribe will participate, Albuquerque Journal reports.

The new sportsbook is located inside the casino between the Big Game Sports Bar and the Apache Spirit Club. It features 12 43-inch televisions and high-top seating.

Last month, Inn of the Mountain Gods announced its plans to open the fourth tribal casino to offer sports betting in New Mexico.

Santa Ana Star, on Santa Ana Pueblo, was the first to have its sports book open in October. The sportsbook at Pueblo of Pojoaque’s Buffalo Thunder opened in March. Isleta’s sportsbook is set to open Aug. 12.

Santa Ana and Isleta partnered with USBookmaking to operate their respective sports books, while Buffalo Thunder’s sportsbook is operated by the South Point Hotel and Casino and National Sports Book Management.
