The city's executive Decree 80, whose head is Mayor Horacio Rodríguez Larreta, was sent for consideration to the Legislature, with the signature of LOTBA's authorities, including President Martín García Santillán and incumbent members María Agustina Pando, María Dolores Pujol, Guadalupe Navarro and Laura Diaz Alberdi.
On Friday morning, the legislative committees voted in favor of issuing an opinion calling for the full legislature's approval of the online gambling implementation rules drafted in LOTBA's Resolution 321 which was admitted by the Legislature by means of Decree 487/18 on December 13, 2018 and its admissibility requirements, together with the Comprehensive Responsible Gambling Policies.
The 'admissibility requirements' are rights, obligations, granting and expiration conditions for online operators; collection modalities, contract conditions and requirements for the technical systems.
Mayor Horacio Rodríguez Larreta sent four annexes: the 'Online Gambling Rules,' made up of 15 sections; the Games Admissibility Requirements, with 18 sections; the third annex, divided into several chapters including systems (1), users, (2) games, (3) RNG (4), payment methods (5), records (6), responsible gambling (7), fraud and money-laundering prevention (8), supplier's integration (9), devices (10), internal control systems (11) and security and management (12), among others; and the Comprehensive Responsible Gambling Policies, which deals with a general course of action, records, general measures, age limits, user tools, transactions and responsible gaming standards.
