Innovative Technology (ITL) introduced the Spectral Bunch Note Feeder (BNF), aimed at self-service, cash deposit and smart safe applications. This combined banknote feeder, validator and large cashbox brings a number of benefits for the retailer including fast acceptance speeds and a significant reduction in refill times while providing quick bunch note deposits.
Tony Morrison, Sales Director at ITL commented, “Our new Spectral BNF has a large deposit capacity with the ability to present 100+ notes and an impressive 2200 cashbox for large scale applications. Notes enter the validator from the bottom of the note pile so constant refill is available, significantly minimizing cash replenishment time as retailers no longer need to wait until all notes are fed in before refilling.”

The Spectral BNF is based on the NV200 Spectral validator and introduces a separate secondary tray to ensure continuous operation in the case of a rejected note. Spectral Technology has state-of-the-art spectral sensors which give high spectral coverage and features optical and mechanical anti-strimming technology that delivers fraud protection and high performance. The NV200 Spectral’s note centring mechanism enhance the user’s handling and first-time note acceptance.
Morrison continued: “A safe interface add-on module is also available. When the Spectral BNF is used with ITL’s Safe Interface it is ideal for smart safe customers wanting to improve their back-office security. The combined unit allows customers to gain access to the validator head (and BNF) while the cash is securely stored inside the smart safe. This gives an enhanced level of security and provides ease of access for maintenance for smart safe and deposit applications.”
