SafeCharge signs ACH payments deal with Mazooma

SafeCharge has announced it is offering the regulated US online gambling industry real-time ACH payments via eCheck Select from Mazooma, a verified bank payments source in online sports betting and igaming.

eCheck Select verifies bank-level data in real-time, including consumer identification and account information. At the time of transaction, eCheck Select confirms a person's account balance and processes the payment or terminates it if there are insufficient funds.

Real-time verification provides operators with rich consumer data, reducing fraud and eliminating customer service issues that sometimes arise with traditional ACH processing.

A Supreme Court decision on May 14, 2018 cleared the way for states to legalize sports betting, driving the momentum for this new segment of online iGaming to emerge.
