Macau gaming revenue sees 14 percent rise in 2018

According to official figures released Tuesday, gaming revenue in the Asian gambling enclave grew 4 percent last year to 302.846 billion patacas (US$37.855 billion).

The official figures released by the Inspection and Coordination Department of Games on Tuesday show that Macau's gaming revenue saw a 14 percent increase in 2018, to USD 37.855 B.res released Tuesday.

In 2017 casinos made a total of 265.743 billion patacas (US$33217 billion), according to DICJ as well.

As reported by Macau Business, in December, the positive trend continued throughout the year, with casinos ending the month with revenues of MOP26.468 billion (US$3.3 billion), 16.6 percent more than in the same period of last year.
