The Sportsbook supplier is expecting golf’s premier team event to surpass previous betting records.

Kambi is preparing to handle a record-breaking number of bets during this weekend’s Ryder Cup as the Sportsbook supplier rolls out an in-depth range of pre-match and in-play betting markets for its customers on both sides of the Atlantic.

The Ryder Cup, which sees the best golfers from the USA and Europe pitted against each other in the sports’ premier team event, tees-off at Le Golf National in Paris tomorrow morning with Kambi providing bettors a market-leading experience before and during each of the competition’s three days.

Ahead of the first match, Kambi is offering a vast array of markets in addition to market-standard outrights, including top team points scorer, top rookie and top wildcard, as well as a range of special bets including the number of points gained by individual players and hole-in-one-related markets.

Meanwhile, all 28 matches across the three days will be offered in-play, with the outcome of every hole traded in-running, in addition to live betting on match winner, leader after nine holes and the hole on which the match will end.

Furthermore, Kambi will this year introduce a variety of exciting shot-by-shot instant markets for feature matches, with live bet offers including to hit fairway, find a bunker, land in water hazard and nearest to the pin.

With its market-leading offer and heightened betting interest from both sides of the Atlantic following its recent entry into the US, Kambi is predicting this year’s Ryder Cup to be its biggest yet.

“We are very excited by what the next few days will bring,” Johan Munthe, Kambi Head of Pre-Match said. “The Ryder Cup has always been popular among Europe-based bettors and, following the return to form of arguably the greatest golfer of all time in Tiger Woods, we are also seeing plenty of interest from our new US players in our market-leading pre-match offering.

“Coupled with ourhole-by-hole live coverage and unrivalled range of instant markets, we are expecting record turnover and are once again proving a high-quality Sportsbook must not only deliver a best-in-class UX for a handful of sports, but across all sports,” he added.
