Mohegan Sun could be part of a group pursuing a USD 1.3 bn casino in Athens, Greek news outlet Kathimerini has reported.
Clairvest and Miura Holdings are also interested in the USD 10.5 bn real estate development project at the former Hellinikon airport that would include a €1bn casino, Kathimerini reported.
Miura, an investment company focused on gaming, hotels and restaurants, could partner with Mohegan while Clairvest stands on its own, Kathimerini reported. Others who have expressed interest in the casino are Caesars, Hard Rock and Groupe Lucien Barriere. The bid process should begin next month.
