"The AGE gave us an opportunity to discuss relevant financial, business and taxation issues affecting AGE attendees," Mr Le Marchant said.
"Many delegates representing, for example, Registered Clubs, were interested to hear about the forthcoming changes to leasing of Gaming Entitlements and the potential financial consequences these changes have to not only running their Club, but also accessing third-party finance."
"Equally, delegates representing hotels and private enterprises were interested to discuss effective financial management strategies and new solutions which may benefit their businesses.”
Ms Keenan added “We found some delegates we met with were utilising legacy systems. In a few cases, some businesses were established in potentially ineffective structures which not only costs the business more in the long-run, but exposes the owners to unnecessary risk."
When asked about Bishop Collins’ overall experience at this year’s AGE Mr Le Marchantsaid "The AGE gave us an opportunity to highlight the advantages of embracing new technology, generate awareness of changes affecting the hospitality industry, and improve the bottom-line."
