IGT announced that it has received notice of intent to award an instant-ticket printing contract by the Iowa Lottery. Upon successful completion of negotiations, IGT will continue to provide instant-ticket services for the Iowa Lottery including game planning and marketing, research and analytics, graphics support, and the production and printing of instant tickets through December 2020.

The proposed contract also allows for four one-year renewal options. “We have forged a strong connection with IGT through the years, and the company’s support and innovation have helped us achieve record years of scratch-ticket sales,” said Terry Rich, Iowa Lottery CEO.

“We’re pleased to continue this working relationship. Since our partnership began in 2015, IGT and the Iowa Lottery have worked together to launch successful instant games including the $10 Super Triple 777s which is the strongest performing $10 game since its launch in January 2016,” said Jay Gendron, IGT COO, Lottery. “We will continue to work with the Lottery to deliver tailored instant ticket lottery solutions to assist in creating the maximum amount of revenue to fund the good causes in Iowa.”

Instant tickets produced for the Iowa Lottery since 2015 have contributed $68 million in sales to assist the Lottery in their support of the Iowa Veterans Trust Fund; a variety of significant projects through the state General Fund; and the Vision Iowa program, which was implemented to create tourism destinations and community attractions in the state and build and repair schools.
