"Latin America is one of the most important markets for IGT in terms of volume and growth"

Marcel Heutmekers, Senior Vice President for gaming at IGT Latin America, said a few words prior to the products’ presentation, highlighting the key role of the Latin American region for the company. "Within IGT’ international markets, Latin America is one of the most important ones in terms of volume and growth," he said. "While most of the international markets are quite steady, Latin America is considered the region with the greatest growth potential for IGT."

"That's why we are devoting special attention to this market, and this type of events help us show our clients that they are very important to us and that we are looking for continued growth within the region. We are proud to be hosting such a large exhibition here, and we really appreciate the market share we have in Argentina," he added.

At Puerto Salguero hall, attendees were able to test IGT’s 56 machines and about 8 different cabinet models, after an informative talk by IGT Product Manager, Alfredo Rodríguez Valdez. During his presentation, he used video mapping technology to identify the main cabinets and their games.

The highlights in terms of cabinets included Axxis 23/23, Crystal Dual 27, CrystalCurve and Crystal Core. With regards to content, attendees got a first-hand look at new titles such as Cleopatra Gold, Dragonsphere, Scarab, It's Magic and Money Strike. IGT’s multigame solution USwitch was also on display.

One of the top moments of the event was the speech delivered by former tennis player Gastón Gaudio, who then answered questions from Martín Jaite and attendees about his sporting experiences, focusing on his Roland Garros title from a motivational standpoint.
