15% rise in Aristocrat revenues in 2017

According to Aristocrat's chairman Ian Blackburne, it was driven by the company’s performance in North and Latin America and significant growth in the digital market.

The company reported that its revenues saw an increase of 15% last year, totaling USD 1.9 B.

The breakdown included in Aristocrat chairman Ian Blackburne's report showed that the Americas contributed 58.1 percent of the revenue, the Australasian market 17.6 percent, digital 15.6 percent and international class III products 8.7 percent.

The operating revenue of USD 1.9 B compares with USD 1.6 B in 2016 (to September 30) with EBITDA at USD 780 M compared with USD 629 M. Broken down, the revenue from Australasia contributed USD 337 M compared with USD 321 M, the Americas USD 1.1 B compared with USD 936 M, international class III 168M compared with USD 141 M and digital USD 299 M compared with USD 218 M.

The company’s net profit amounted to USD 386 M compared with USD 274 M, an increase of 41.3 percent.
