The six-floor hotel will feature three swimming pools -indoor, outdoor and water slide- a spa, a fitness facility and banquet and reception center, according to plans.
Since opening as a full casino in early December 2016, Tioga Downs has reported total gaming revenues of $53 million on bets of $650 million, based on reports filed with the state gaming commission. Gaming revenues are split between the state and the operator, with 37 percent of the profits on slots and 10 percent of the profits on table games going to New York.
Tioga Downs is Tioga County's second largest employer with more than 600 workers, with more to be added when the hotel and associated amenities opens its doors.
The casino has 944 slot machines, 32 gaming tables and 12 poker tables.
