Two casinos, one slot parlor remain closed in Macau
According to a special report published by TDM News website, several gambling venues in Macau were flooded during the storm and renovations work needs to be done before the casinos can resume operations.
Hoffman Ma, executive director of the Success Universe Group, co-operator of the Ponte 16 casino, told TDM that "the ground floor has been flooded, the most damaging and a lot of the wiring, carpets, and the renovations work needs to be done to get the casino court, well the ground floor casino court to be ready to reopen again. We are hoping to be able to do that within the next two weeks or so"
The head of casino operations at Macau Legend Development told TDM News that water invaded the basement, reaching as high as 1.5 meters, and damaging essential equipment such as internet servers and air conditioning.
