The Chinese developer wants to turn Metro Manila’s hub into a world-class Leisure and Theme Park Integrated Resort.

Yang Zhihui, Chairman and Executive Director of Landing International Development Limited, has met with President Rodrigo Duterte to discuss a proposed five-year development program that includes reclaiming 147 hectares of the Manila Bay.

According to Yang, the multi-billion dollar venture is a three-phase project that will generate thousands of jobs for Filipinos.

“Following our first meeting with the President in May 2017 in Hong Kong to discuss investment opportunities in the Philippines, we are pleased to share with President Duterte our vision for tourism in the country and our proposal to build an iconic branded theme park integrated resort,” Yang said.

The complex will feature Asia’s first movie-themed indoor park and waterpark as well as many other leisure and entertainment facilities suited for all ages and families, he said.

Yang also pointed out that, once it opens to public, the theme park will boost tourism in the Philippines.
