WrB Responsible Gambling Innovation draws more interest

The fine followed a 13 month long investigation by the UK Gambling Commission which found that the 888 system inadvertently allowed players who had self excluded from the company's casino, poker and sports games to continue to access their accounts on the brand's bingo platform.
 
Sadie Walters, Senior Events Producer responsible for WrB, said, "This will be the first C-Level gathering following the findings of the 888 investigation.  The size of the fine underlines the fundamental importance of self exclusion in the social responsibility debate. The title of our afternoon session, 'Is self-exclusion working?' could not be more timely and features contributions from experts including Clement-Martin Saint-Leon, Head of Consumer Protection, Arjel; Clive Hawkswood, CEO, Remote Gambling Association and Kira Brianka, Legal Officer, Danish Gambling Authority."
