The remodeling plans include a new casino floor carpet, painting all the walls and ceilings, lighting replacement and the creation of new stone walkways.

The proposed changes follow the swift removal of escalators on the northern section of the casino floor, that dropped guests at The Grand Canal Shoppes and directly at the front door of chef Emeril Lagasse's Table 10 restaurant.

Other changes for the casino include a reworking of its collection of bars. The Corner Bar, a new addition with enough seats for 84 guests, will take over 1,100 square feet. An estimated construction budget of $1,383,000 has been allocated for the yet to be announced project.

Another new casino floor bar is described as a “remodel,” overhauling 1,450-square-foot with its own estimated construction budget of $1,485,000. Yet to be confirmed, it is currently believed one of these concepts will slot into the site that has been home to a series of lounge concepts known as Zebra, Salute and The Label in recent years and located close to the Palazzo Theatre.
