The Gaming Commission is meeting this week in Altoona to debate three casino proposals for the construction of a new gaming facility in the state.

The three projects include the Cedar Crossing on the River. If approved, it would be built along the Cedar River and is worth 165 million dollars.

The next proposal comes in at 105 million dollars. Cedar Crossing Central would actually go where the Five Seasons Ramp now sits near the U-S Cellular Center.

The third idea is a small scale, boutique style casino. Wild Rose Casinos wants to build a 40 million dollar facility along First Avenue downtown.

The commission will visit the sites in September and will vote on this in November.
