June revenue was up in the city's three gaming facilities: MotorCity Casino Hotel increased revenue by 5.7 percent to $37.9 million, Greektown Casino-Hotel's rose by 5.4 percent to $26.5 million and MGM Grand Detroit reported revenue of $48.6 million, up 2.2 percent.
Year-to-date aggregate revenue at the casinos is $714 million, up 2.1 percent from the same time last year.
The three casinos reported paying $28.7 million in state gaming taxes, compared to $28.3 million last year. They reported $42.2 million in wagering taxes and development agreement payments submitted to the city of Detroit in the second quarter.
