The new legislation enforces anti money laundering measures and helps prevent the financing of terrorism.

Treasury Minister Alfred Cannan said the changes would enable the Gambling Supervision Commission to ensure the island’s casino legislation complied with international standards.

The Casino (Amendment Bill) also simplifies the procedure for retaining a licence, should a casino move premises.
