Well-appointed rooms and suites provide the perfect balance for business and recreational travelers, and the modern sleek exterior shimmers along New York's historic Mohawk River. The announcement took place before a major hiring fair for more than one hundred hospitality and gaming positions.
"Casual elegance, first-class service, amazing food and access to the best gaming in New York will ensure that Rivers Casino & Resort guests will be treated to the very best travel experience in the Capital Region," said Rivers Casino & Resort General Manager Mary Cheeks. "The addition of our new upscale boutique hotel signals that we are full steam ahead at Rivers. In the weeks ahead, we'll be rolling out the red carpet for our first overnight guests and welcoming over one hundred new members to the best team in town."
Cheeks also announced that hotel management veteran Ryan Cimei will serve as The Landing Hotel General Manager. Cimei has experience in hospitality at properties all over the country, and comes to the Capital Region from the nation's capital, where he most recently was general manager of the Hyatt Place DC/U.S. Capitol.
"The Landing Hotel is going to be a great addition to Rivers Casino, and a destination in its own right in the Capital Region," commented Cimei. "The property will provide the highest quality guest experience for whatever reason you're visiting Rivers — entertainment, business, or a wedding or conference in our Event Center."
After unveiling The Landing Hotel brand and introducing Cimei, Rivers' team members opened up its on-site Hiring Fair, welcoming hundreds of job seekers.
