A partnership formed between the Gaming Standards Association (GSA) and iGaming Academy (IGA) has resulted in the release of the first in a series of e-learning modules titled “GSA Executive Overview: Game Authentication.”

The course, available for purchase from the iGaming Academy e-shop, serves as an insight into the fundamentals of Game Authentication Terminalstandards (GAT) and is targeted at those with an interest in learning how to deliver high quality software in order to ensure player protection and game integrity.

“GSA is pleased to launch this first course in our e-learning initiative. As I said at the time we announced our partnership with iGaming Academy, GSA’s membership operates across multiple time zones. We are now able to offer premium learning that is available on-demand, allowing our members to learn on their schedule,” commented GSA President Peter DeRaedt.

The GAT protocol, developed over two decades ago, provides a mechanism that enables regulators and operators to verify that only approved software is running in gaming machines.
