The Cosmopolitan Las Vegas hotel has officially started charging visitors for parking.

Up until last year, most parking on the Las Vegas Strip was free, until resorts owned by MGM Resorts International and Caesars Entertainment announced the change in policy.

Cosmopolitan soon followed suit, claiming they couldn’t handle the overage of people parking at the resort to only go to another property. For self-parking, the first hour is free, then it’s $7 up to four hours, $10 for four to 24 hours and $10 for each additional day.
