The two-day conference attracted 85 exhibitors and 5.000 visitors from all over the world. Part of the success of the show can be attributed to the recent law regulating the online gambling market in the country.
This year's edition of FADJA was a great success for Sirplay, The Malta-based company had the chance to debut its premium partnership with two kew players such as Microgaming and Playtech.
In addition to this, the company received a lot of interest from attendees regarding the recent GLI certification in the Colombian market.
During the show, Sirplay also announced the name of its first customer in the Colombian market, ColBet. ColBet is the first operator to have applied for an online gaming license in the market.
“The decision to share our stand with ColBet was driven by our commitment to responding to market needs, and also show the industry how valuable our partners are for Sirplay,” the company said in a statement.
“Colombia is paving the way for gaming regulation in Latin America, and the work carried out by Coljuegos can serve as a model for other jurisdictions across the region. Peru and Brazil are already drafting regulation for the online gaming sector. Takins this into account we would advise reducing the bureaucratic burden. Complex bureaucracy doesn’t encourage investment, but rather drives it elsewhere, risking to waste all the efforts made by Coljuegos, Sirplay added.
“Colombia is leading South America to a path of innovation,” Sirplay concluded.
