The enlarged casino will include a new buffet restaurant, a high-limit gaming room, and a new Stage 131 entertainment lounge that will offer enough seating to attract regional entertainers.
Tribal Chairman Scott Sprague said the casino has been a boon to Allegan County, creating more than 900 jobs. The casino also has sent more than USD 19M to local municipalities and civic groups while sending $67 million to the state through its gaming compact with the tribe.
The expansion added 450 slot machines to the 1,600 machines already in place while bringing the total number of table games to 42.
"We're thankful to the community, our guests, and over 900 team members, who have supported Gun Lake Casino over the years and have made it what it is today," Scott Sprague said.
"We're pleased to offer a fantastic regional entertainment destination, along with employment opportunities and economic growth for our friends and neighbors here in West Michigan."
