In the Head of Risk/Fraud category the judges were looking for the individual who had performed “above and beyond” in his or her lead role to enhance their organisation’s AML (Anti-Money Laundering) and Fraud Prevention capabilities by, for example, introducing new measures, KPIs or working practices, training initiatives and new technology.
Speaking after the awards ceremony, Johannisson said: “Naturally I am delighted to have won this award, and delighted also for my many colleagues in Evolution’s Game Integrity and Risk team. We should all be very proud that our collective achievements and proactive approach in the game protection area are seen as one of Evolution Gaming's USPs for licensees across the world.”
The awards judging panel comprised senior executives from Deloitte, The Bingo Association, European Casino Association, European Gaming and Betting Association, Gambling Integrity, iGaming Ideas, National Casino Forum, PwC, Remote Gambling Association and Trust EU Affairs.
