The survey was conducted by Geopoll and carried out among millennials between the ages of 17 and 35 in six African countries: Uganda, Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, Nigeria, and Kenya.
According to the study, Kenya has the world’s highest rate of people who earn less than $2 a day, which represents a concern because most of the millennials are unemployed and have never been lucky enough to win more than $50 on the bets.
Meanwhile, the data also revealed that South Africa has the lowest usage of mobile gadgets for gamblin-surprising, because the country has the highest rate of mobile penetration in the continet. South Africa is also the only surveyed country in which the youths prefer lotteries to football betting.
