Combined revenue at Maryland’s six casinos totalled USD 141,166,114 during March, as confirmed by the Maryland Lottery and Gaming on Wednesday.
The figure represents a 44.3% year-over-year increase; though not including the revenue of newly opened MGM National Harbor, statewide casino revenue dropped by 8.1% year-over-year.
- MGM National Harbor generated $51,249,793 from slot machines and table games in March. It opened on Dec. 8, 2016, so there is no year-ago comparison.
- Maryland Live Casino generated $46,626,350 from slot machines and table games in March, decreasing by 14.6% from March 2016.
- Horseshoe Casino Baltimore generated $26,967,461 from slot machines and table games in March, decreasing by 2.4% from March 2016.
- Hollywood Casino Perryville generated $6,948,923 from slot machines and table games in March, decreasing by $ 1.3% from March 2016.
- Rocky Gap Casino Resort generated $4,701,267 from slot machines and table games in March, increasing by 14.7% from March 2016.
- Casino at Ocean Downs generated $4,672,321 from slot machines in March, increasing by 4.5% from March 2016.
According to Maryland Lottery and Gaming, the six casinos contributed $34,299,964.73 to the Education Trust Fund last month.
