Rocket League’s frenetic, fast-paced nature mixed with the unique combination of football with fast (& flying) cars makes it a great spectacle.
The game has almost 29,000,000 registered players and has sold over 10,500,000 copies and continues to grow. The Rocket League Championship Series is set to be competed worldwide until it culminates with the World Championships in June.
Unikrn revealed in a press release that it has worked with regulators in Australia to have Rocket League an approved part of its sportsbook. It joins Overwatch, League of Legends, CS:GO, Dota 2, Starcraft, Call of Duty, Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone and World of Tanks in what is already an impressive portfolio.
Rahul Sood, CEO of Unikrn told ESI, “We worked with regulators to get Rocket League approved because, quite honestly, all of the people who work here play it”. He continued “So Karl, my business partner, got tired of watching them play the game for hours and hours. He decided we needed to get approval on it as soon as possible from regulators to get it onto the sportsbook,” before concluding “it’s a pretty awesome game”.
