Copag, one of the world’s largest manufacturers of playing cards, will market the licensed playing cards of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) brand.

This line will be produced with the same raw material and quality used to produce the tournament cards.

Copag–part of the multinational company Cartamundi, since 2005–is globally renowned for the quality of its plastic playing cards.

The company partnership with WSOP returned when Copag started to provide the decks of cards to last year's tournament. “Putting quality cards on the game tables in WSOP is one of the most important elements of the event,” said the Executive Director of WSOP, Ty Stewart.

Copag will market the playing cards to Brazil and the wider Latin American region. In other parts of the world, such as Europe, Asia, Australia and New Zealand, Cartamundi will be responsible for its sales.

“Having these playing cards with a very renowned brand in our portfolio is really important to the Poker players,” said Mariana Dall'Acqua, Marketing Director of Copag.
