Baha Mar makes key appointments ahead of April opening

The multibillion dollar Baha Mar Resort has announced the appointment of Alex W. Pariente and John Zaremba to direct the Executive Team at Baha Mar Casino.

The multibillion dollar Baha Mar Resort has announced the appointment of Alex W. Pariente and John Zaremba to direct the Executive Team at Baha Mar Casino.

Mr. Pariente will serve as Executive Vice President of Casino Operations and Marketing and Mr Zaremba as the Vice President Casino Operations.

The pair will oversee the 100,000-square-foot casino at Baha Mar, upon opening on April 21, 2017, the casino at Baha Mar is projected to be the largest casino in the Caribbean and a significant focal point of the $4.2 billion integrated resort development.

Prior to joining Baha Mar Casino, Mr. Pariente was the Chief Gaming Officer for Hard Rock International in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic

Before that time, Pariente was the Executive Vice President of International & Domestic Marketing at the Wynn-Encore in Las Vegas, one of the world’s most successful gaming resorts. Pariente also served as Senior Vice President of International Marketing for Caesars Entertainment.

Mr. Zaremba was the Vice President of Gaming Operations for The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas where he served as a member of the senior management team responsible for the opening of the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas. Recognized for his expertise and innovation in high roller gaming, Zaremba is noted for creating and operating the most successful high limit and private gaming salons in Las Vegas at The Cosmopolitan, Venetian, and Palazzo.

The Baha Mar Casino, operated by CTFE Bahamas Subsidiary, is expected to open on April 21, 2017, as part of the phase one unveiling of Baha Mar.

The casino will feature 100,000 square feet of gaming space complete with more than 1,000 slot machines, 126 table games, race and sports betting, mobile gaming and exclusive high roller gaming salons.
