How would you the describe this year's edition of ICE?
ICE stays current and ahead of trends, getting better with each passing year. This year there was a strong presence from the industry but also emerging markets. ICE brings inspiration and foresight into the gaming industry of tomorrow.
What were the highlights of the fair?
For Ortiz Gaming, Bingotronic was one of our most highlighted products. Bingotronic is our electronic Bingo Hall lounge, taking elements of interactive gaming and bringing them into the traditional bingo hall. This product was highlighted at ICE for its recent upgrades which boast multi-location functionalities, jackpots, and flexible tournament setups. These advanced features make Bingotronic a product customizable enough to fit various markets from land-based to “live” interactive platforms.
How was the feedback from customers and attendees?
We received relevant feedback at the show about the industry’s needs, as well as high regards for many of our products. Translating and disseminating these responses internally are a gift, molding our research and development to ensure continued success and well reception of our products in the industry.
What product would you say was “the star” of the show? Which solutions generated the most interest at your booth?
It is hard to respond with just one product. Ortiz Gaming has made some big leaps over the past few months. We are following a recent mega launch of a multitude of new products, many for a diverse set of regions and gaming markets. Additionally, Ortiz Gaming introduced a revolution to the video bingo industry with a stunning and simple new concept to the screen layout, soon to become the industry standard.

The product virtually customizable for the needs of any operator, and as such earned its spot as top received product of our booth. OrtiZone enables any space to be a customizable gaming area, from integrations into a preexisting lounge, bar or casino to a standalone offline room, the possibilities are endless. The limits of OrtiZone are based on the customer needs. It has become one of our top requests this year.
How would you describe the current state of the gambling market?
The gaming industry is always changing. With so many internal and external influences on our industry, from technology to politics, to cultural and generational shifts, change is inevitable. The key is to progress and adapt with the market.

From the current industry influencers, we are seeing emerging gaming markets, gaming styles, and new product categories, all resulting in an exciting time for the gaming industry. We are studying the possible impacts of these developments and have set out to revolutionize and innovate our own. We want to be prepared for any outcome and circumstances, and even pave the way in the industry.
What is the brand's focus for this year? What are your business strategies for 2017?
With such an exponential growth to our library of games and portfolio of hardware, software, cabinets, and auxiliaries, much of this year will be about fostering the growth and life-cycles of top producers and innovations. Ortiz Gaming places a premium on research and development, but this is only part of the process, hard work continues after the launch and over time forms a cycle as practice affects future research and development.
Are you targeting new markets this year?
Ortiz Gaming maintains a state of steady growth, studying demand and understanding performance in new markets. At this time we are reviewing and making plans for some potential target locations, but will be steadfast to our mission and values throughout every step.
