TCS John Huxley is building on a positive experience at ICE Totally Gaming 2017. The company's brand new Qorex electronic gaming solutions, which has just been been launched, is about to go live in the UK, with several more international installations underway, Tracy Cohen told Yogonet.

What were the main questions brought up by both casino operators and players at this year's ICE Totally Gaming?

ICE 2017 provided the perfect stage to showcase our brand new Qorex electronic gaming solutions. We were able to display a wide range of Qorex configurations that demonstrate the flexibility of the system – these included a stadium style layout with a live dealer, a striking 8-player carousel unit with integrated Saturn Auto Wheel and back-to-back formations which included ergonomically designed curved top screens displaying a live feed of the wheel and up to 3 live game statistics.

This flexibility provides casino operators with the opportunity to have a fully integrated hybrid terminal that can be driven from a live wheel with a dealer, an automated wheel or a system-driven wheel. Feedback at the show was hugely positive, with customers commenting on the striking innovative design, easy to navigate interface, flexible configurations and customized content.

Wholly owned, designed and produced in-house, the introduction of Qorex is a significant milestone for TCS John Huxley and a game changer.

What can you tell us about the current expansion of Qorex, after its international premiere at G2E in Las Vegas last year?

Even though Qorex has only recently been launched, we installed a 12 terminal system on trial in the UK in early January which is already performing extremely well. By the end of February we will be placing 25 Qorex terminals at the Hippodrome Casino in London, which has a much bigger gaming space and attracts many more visitors. There are also more forthcoming installations in Asia and the UK.

We also introduced Blaze HD at ICE, the latest addition to Blaze LED Surface Technology range. Blaze has dominated the illuminated gaming table market in Asia for some time as it’s the only product available that features patented in-game animated video, allowing operators to incorporate themed designs and images. With the introduction of Blaze HD we can now offer even more sophisticated graphics that provide endless possibilities for theming and advertising, whilst attracting players to tables. There was a lot of interest in Blaze HD at ICE, which will result in various installations in the coming months.

What will be the biggest challenges for TCS John Huxley in 2017?

I think it’s not so much of a challenge but a different mindset. Our Gaming Floor Live platform was a big departure for us when it was launched. In the past we specialized in providing the highest quality live gaming products and were industry leaders in this field. This part of our DNA hasn’t changed, but we now have the ability through software, to provide a platform that connects all our stand alone products to a powerful system that delivers real-time accurate data as well as driving a whole host of new and innovative products, such as Qorex and progressive bonusing.

At TCS John Huxley we’re focusing on more of a solution approach with the ability to provide operators with a 360-degree view of their gaming floors and the opportunity to build a tailor-made platform that increases both revenues and engagement levels. That being said, our products are still available in standalone versions so that we can cater for all requirements.

And what about your short term aims?

Our aims as always, are that we continue to work with our existing customers worldwide to provide the best products and highest levels of service and support possible. As a family owned and operated business we are ideally positioned to work with our customers to develop custom products and services which can then be rolled out to the wider market.

We’re keeping an eye on what’s going on in the global gaming scenario and monitoring developments in Japan and Brazil through our teams based close to those regions.
