The Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Hollywood has appointed Auggie Cipollini, a longtime executive at an Atlantic City gambling resort, as its new president.

Cipollini will oversee operations and management at the resort and casino in Hollywood, according to a company news release.

Considered South Florida's largest gambling and entertainment complex, Seminole Hard Rock offers a 469-room hotel, 140,000-square-foot casino, 5,500–seat Hard Rock Live concert arena and multiple restaurants and retail shops.

Cipollini replaces former president Bill Wright, who was hired in May 2015.

Prior to joining Seminole Hard Rock, Cipollini served as senior vice president of operations at Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa in Atlantic City, N.J., with responsibility for all non-gambling functions, including food and beverage, retail, reservations, hotel sales and revenue management.

He joined Borgata in April 2000 and has held previous roles across the organization, including director of development and vice president of finance.

Cipollini is a certified public accountant and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Widener University, according to Seminole Hard Rock.
