The Rivers Casino and Resort will open at noon on February 8, the casino's operator announced Wednesday.
The opening time was included in a tweet sent out on Rivers Casino's account.
The $330 million attraction includes a 50,000-square-foot gaming floor with 1,142 slot machines, 67 gaming tables and 15 poker tables attached to a 165-room hotel and a 10,000-square-foot banquet facility.
The casino is the centerpiece of a $480 million mixed-use building project called Rivers Casino & Resort at Mohawk Harbor. It also features a marina with 50 boat slips.
One of two hotels is already open for business on the 60-acre plot owned by Rotterdam-based Galesi Group. The casino is being built along Erie Boulevard on river-front land that was long vacant.
