Casino Technology has been granted Class II game license for online game content in Romania and thus expanded its presence on the regulated market in the country. The license was approved by the Romanian National Gambling Office (ONJN) and will enable the company's division Casino Technology Interactive to supply its broad portfolio of content to the customers there.

The Vice President of Casino Technology Rossi McKee said: "We have very strong positions on the land-based sector in Romania for years and now we are excited to provide the players with our game content online as well".

Through the license Casino Technology Interactive will provide game content from the Remote Game Server ELEPHANT - part of the unique system THE BIG 5. The content consist of titles that are proven leaders and most played on the land-based market in Romania. The games are already live and available at circus.ro.

The Head of Business Development of Casino Technology Interactive Stefan Enchev said: "After granting license, the company is in process of securing deals with our land-based partners so they could rely on us in the process of synergy and empowering the seamless multichannel gaming solution delivery".

The Romanian gambling regulator started issuing licenses in 2016 after the regulation of the online gaming market was adopted by the country's lawmakers.
