Bassam has headed up ITL’s Customer Support for the last five years and has worked in the cash handling industry for more than 15 years. This new role will see him take on more strategic responsibility for the development of the company’s global technical support as ITL continues to grow their product range and expand their market share worldwide.
Commenting on his promotion Bassam said, “ITL Customer Support is a truly global operation with staff from different continents providing around the clock support for customers. We believe in constant development and are keen to improve the level of technical assistance we can provide to our expanding customer base.”
Bassam continued, “We are putting systems in place to provide a faster turnaround for email support requests to further strengthen the daily assistance we provide. To ease new product implementation for customers we are renewing all of our technical manuals, creating an easy to follow, consistent style for our complete product range. We will provide on-site customer visits in more locations to aid customers with hardware and software integration, as well as providing support for product trials through regular monitoring and reporting.”
Operations Director TJ Crowley concluded, “I would like to congratulate Andy on his promotion to VP of Customer Support.
