“The Georgian lottery market is fairly heavily regulated and the country has only a limited number of casinos, concentrated mainly in the capital," said sales director of Synot Group, Roland Andrýsek.

“Therefore, we are delighted to have acquired a license to operate one of them," Andrýsek said.

"In this country, we have already started to operate during this year, in cooperation with the local business partner. From a business perspective we are speaking about very interesting location, so that we are pleased to continue with our activities development here," he added.

This is not the first project of SYNOT Group in this country. The very first beginning was opening of the smaller casino in Kutaisi, in May last year. Given that this activity proved, SYNOT embarked on the implementation of other significant investments, resulting in the opening of a casino in the capital of Georgia, Tbilisi.

"The new casino is a truly great establishment. There is located more than 200 machines. In the future, we expect the construction of other similar casinos in this country, and even in other cities," said Mr. Andrýsek.

SYNOT Group is interested in Asia and the surroundings in the long term. In the autumn of 2016 it opened a new casino in Vietnam. Moreover, SYNOT Group management is dealing with the possible cooperation in other areas of mentioned region.
